The Razor Ground Force Drifter: Awesome electric Go Kart!

There's no mistaking the Ground Force Drifter; it is a truly fun road speedster go cart, enhanced by Razor with a race-tuned chassis and Super Slider Pom (Tm) rear wheels added for drifting.

This motor is faster than some of the other entry-level Razor products designed for 8+ yr olds, like the Dune Buggy and E100 scooter. Those topped out around 10 mph, but both the Ground Force and the Drifter variant can get up to 12 mph. It may not seem like much, but when you're slung in 2 inches off the ground zipping along the neighborhood, it's plenty!

Razor Ground Force Electric Go-Kart

One advantage of such a low riding organize is that it's quite hard to tip over, a good thing when you're cornering or doing donuts. One downside of that, though, is the low profile is a bit hard to see at times. It does come with a security flag, but Razor understandably recommends this be kept to controlled environments free of traffic and off collective streets. Good advice with any motorized kids' device, really, but especially with a low-riding go-kart.

Features of the Razor Ground Force Drifter:

What precisely sets the Ground Force Drifter apart is its race-tuned chassis and super-slick rear wheels, which let you power slide straight through corners, throw fish tales, or accomplish fast 180s. Add in a thumb-trigger acceleration control and manual rear brake and you're ready for a serious go-kart adventure.

Things that are great about it:

* Solid performance, trustworthy Razor quality

* Great performance for experienced riders, not too big for smaller riders

* Fast and fun, but not too much for most riders

* Super Slider rear wheels let you do some neat drifting tricks

* Very maneuverable and agile

* Steel frame and shoulder harness seat belt for rider safety

* Small sufficient to precisely store and transport

Things that could be better:

* Not a large go kart, kids may outgrow it

* Has just sufficient speed that it may be too much for very young riders

* Too much drifting and the rear wheels will wear out faster

* security flag isn't very high visibility, especially with low clearance design

One of the precisely fun advantages of this go kart, the slick rear wheels and drifting ability, does come with an understandable downside: the rear wheels will wear out faster than otherwise. Naturally, this is dependent on how you use it. If you do a lot of skidding and drifting, they'll wear out faster. Just something to think about.

Conclusion:

The Razor Ground Force Drifter Go Kart is an tantalizing electric go kart for riders 8 years old and up, with the possibility of use for younger riders if they're ready and properly supervised. Razor took the primary Ground Force and made it even more tantalizing with a race-tuned chassis and awesome rear drifting wheels

It may be too much for very young or new riders, but in a controlled, flat environment with proper supervision, this is a very fun go kart for a very affordable price.
